Pattern of the Month for January: #scraps

  • We'd seen on Discord that a few of you had asked for suggestions on how to use up fabric scraps, so this months suggestion is to make something from scraps.

  • There are lots of options from using scraps to make bags and purses, to quilting scraps together to make new fabric for garments.

Remember when it comes to show and tell it doesn't have to be something you sewed this month, you are welcome to share any past makes!

You are welcome to sew for yourself, a family member, a friend, or whoever you would like!  Remember the next two months we will be virtual so please post your makes on Discord  using  #virtualOGGPOM or email them to ottawagarmentguild@gmail.com if you want them including in the meeting slides
