April Pattern of the Month

Our Pattern of the Month for April is Infinity scarves. We haven't chosen a specific pattern, so you can go nuts and sew up whatever you would like! Here are a few tutorials we've found around the interwebs:

This is the perfect project for beginners when done up in a woven or people looking to try knits for the first time. If you make a scarf this month, please send us a pic, bring it to our April 12 meeting and share it on Instagram with the hashtag #OGGPOM

Our First Ever Monthly Meeting Thursday March 8

All meetings will start at 7:30pm and go until roughly 9pm. For our first meeting, feel free to arrive any time after 7pm, so we can get everyone paid up and registered. For the remainder of the meetings, we ask that you don't arrive any earlier than 7:15pm to allow us to get things set up.

Membership Fees:
Year 1 (March - June 2018)

Full Membership - $20 Single Meeting Drop-In - $10 

Year 2 (September 2018 - June 2019)

Full Membership - $50 Single Meeting Drop-In - $10

For our first "Pattern of the Month", we're asking you to pick your favourite pattern! Bring in your favourite "TNT" (tried 'n' true) pattern or sewn item to share during "Sew & Tell" at the end of the meeting, and tell us why it's your favourite!

Parking & Church Entrance Info:

The church is located at 1606 Fisher Ave. When driving south on Fisher, turn right onto Normandy Cres. and then left into the parking lot. Please do not park in the first section of the parking lot, this is reserved for the choir members who will also be at the church during our meeting time.
