- Welcome to the May meeting of the Ottawa Garment Guild
- Guest Speaker
- This month we hosted Louise Delorme and Debra Bertrand of Cavadelo Flax Garden, their passion project that they began in 2021 with the goal of growing flax and processing it all the way through to a woven fabric. They’re now at 6700 square feet of growing space, capable of producing roughly 18m of material. Louise and Debra kindly brought in samples of all the stages of production and told us about linen production in other regions of Canada.

You are welcome to sew for yourself, a family member, a friend, or whoever you would like! Remember the next two months we will be virtual so please post your makes on Discord using #virtualOGGPOM or email them to ottawagarmentguild@gmail.com if you want them including in the meeting slides
