- This month, we welcomed one of our first ever speakers to return to speak on what is really involved in running a Fabric store, we learnt how it's not all petting pretty fabrics and squishing lush yarn! Faustina Konkal Fabrications co-owner gave us a truly eye opening view of what it’s like to run a fabric store.

Pattern of the Month for April: #Print/Pattern mixing
- 1. Look for a unifying colour between prints
- 2. Mix different scales or sizes of prints.
- 3. Mix types of prints: stripes with dots, stripes with geometrics, and geometrics with florals (or botanics), stripes with botanics or florals, etc.
Remember when it comes to show and tell it doesn't have to be something you sewed this month, you are welcome to share any past makes!
You are welcome to sew for yourself, a family member, a friend, or whoever you would like! Remember the next two months we will be virtual so please post your makes on Discord using #virtualOGGPOM or email them to ottawagarmentguild@gmail.com if you want them including in the meeting slides
